Volkswagen senior officials have confirmed with AutoWeek that the company will be showing a seven-seat SUV concept at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show in January.
Speaking at the 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show, a Volkswagen manager said that it will be showing the Passat-based seven-seater in Detroit – after which it will enter production at V-Dub’s Chattanooga production plant in Tennessee.
The new seven-seater Volkswagen SUV is expected to launch in 2014.
